アナライズ・ミーやフレンズに出ているリサ・クードロー(御年40歳)が熱演している。素っ頓狂な声とスタイルが好きです。

地方TV局(ペンシルベニァ州）でやっているロト６のインチキ当選工作をめぐるコメディー。映画に出てくるキリスト教再洗礼派の「アーミッシュ｣の馬車が懐かしい。彼らは現代文明を拒否、電気、電話、冷蔵庫など一切の利器を使わない18世紀の生活を送っている。

さて、映画のほうは「めぐり逢えたら」｢ユーガッタメール」「マイケル」などを製作した上品なおばさん監督のノーラ・エフロンが仲のよいジョン･トラボルタの主演で作った犯罪コメディーだが、安心して笑えます。
トラボルタ行きつけのレストランのウェートレスは重要な役回りですが、アメリカでは有名なスタンダップ(独漫才)の女性。

出演俳優が伸び伸びと演技しているのが感じられます。
