どうしていいかわからないほど、私はこの歌が好き。
この時期になるとエンドレスでこのCDを流している。
ＫＩＹＯＳＨＩとしての初のCDながら、全く気負いを
感じさせない、素晴らしさ。伸びのある美しい声…
高音のゆるぎなさ…河村隆一氏の完璧な楽曲は
ＫＩＹＯＳＨＩの歌唱力で、最大限の輝きをえた。
「演歌は演じる歌、ポップスは等身大の自分…」
ＫＩＹＯＳＨＩとして、２００４年大阪・東京の大会場で
初ライブを行った際の、彼のコメントを効きながら、
私は改めてＫＩＹＯＳＨＩ元年のこの楽曲の価値を思う。
クリスマスソングの新定番となりうる力のある歌。
ＫＩＹＯＳＨＩにもファンにも長く歌いついでいって欲しい。

関係者曰く「クリスマスプレゼント」として世に送り出されたこの作品。
河村隆一らしい、「お約束」の甘いバラードを、ＫＩＹＯＳＨＩが爽やかに、そして真っ直ぐに歌い上げてます。ド演歌で鍛えた歌唱力ではありながら、初めてのポップスであるせいか、初々しさすら感じさせます。
一聴の価値あり(^^)です。

国際フォーラムで行われた「きよしこの夜２００４」で一番最初に歌った【キヨシこの夜~Angel of mine~】はこのＣＤにしか入っていません。
切なさが伝わってくる名曲ですよぉ~。
