中学生時代から聞いていた懐かしいユーミン。初めてカセットデッキの録音の仕方を覚えたのは大好きなユーミンの曲をテープに録音するためだった。他のアーティストが歌う英語の曲や、今は名前も知らない日本の若手が歌うユーミンより、彼女自身の声がBest。青春時代の沢山の想い出が曲を聴きながらよみがえる。愛していた昔の彼は若くして逝ってしまった。今は日本語を理解しない夫と子供が微笑みながらユーミンのCDを車の中でかけてくれる。

もう、選曲された二曲を見て大興奮
ＣＤ化されていないナビゲーター、潮風にちぎれて！
そのアルバムはＣＤになっておらず、なぜなのだ！と怒りつつ擦り切れたカセットを聞いていました。
今回の小泉今日子のドラマで昔の恋人の島君との車のシーンで流れ、また泣けました！切なさと懐かしさの同居。
もう、永久保存番になるのかな~

　ホントにいい曲ってのは、たとえそれがトランジスタラジオであろうが、ぼろぼろのオーディオ機器であろうが、その良さがぜんぜん失われないものだと思う。このバラードベストはむしろ昔のラジカセで聞きたくなってしまった。時にはノスタルジックに、時には甘く、ほろ苦いユーミンの詩の世界が、バラードベストという形でより生きてます。もともとベスト盤は嫌いなたちですが、これはおすすめです。
