THE#BOOMの活動では収まりきらない宮沢の魅力を全面に打ち出したアルバム。ブラジル~アルゼンチン~NY~沖縄~東京と旅して制作された意欲作で、アジア人の視点で捉えた歌を満載。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

連日連夜、米連続テロ事件関連の報道が雨霰のごとく降り注いでくる昨今、TV画面を横目に(4)を聴くと身に詰まされる。おそらく、宮沢はこの作品をレコーディングしていた2001年5月頃には、世界がこんな事態に陥るとは夢にも思わなかったに違いない。旬な詞だから書き直しを頻繁にしたということだが、“テロリストの教祖には裁判を”というくだりには驚愕を覚えた。
宮沢としては、3枚目のソロ・アルバムで、THE BOOMから離れた個人的なアートワークなのだが、作詞家としての視点と切り口の鋭さと普遍性に共感を覚える。
レコーディングは、ブラジル、ニューヨーク、沖縄、東京で行なわれ、今回初めてアート・リンゼイが参加していて、音のセンス、構築は文句なしに秀逸。日本人のアイデンティティとして、沖縄(ウチナー)の旋律と今は県内で禁止されてしまった“毛遊び”を題材にする(7)の発想もアンチ体制で芸術的なアプローチだ。意外に(3)のラップが上手かった。 (小林泰介) --- 2001年12月号

ミヤ大好きです。
この人の高音を聞いていると、気持ちがいいです。
読経しているような声で歌っている唄もあります。
とにかく声が良い。もちろん詩もいい。
ボーとしたり、考えさせたれたり、ワクワクしたり、色んな気持ちにさせてくれます。

THEBOOMとはまた違った音楽に挑戦しております。
そしてこれまた成功しております。
このアルバムは超オススメ！

・沖縄に降る雪
三味線の音と詩がマッチ。ぜひ聴いて欲しいです。
・Perfect　Love
・Tokyo Story
・ゲバラとエビータのタンゴ
社会問題・事件などについて朗読している曲（曲ではないかな？？）
「平和」というものを求めている詩であり、すごく感動します。
・ちむぐり唄者
全部が沖縄の言葉。（訳詞あり）
また、「島唄」や「沖縄に降る雪」とは違った、一面が見れます。

全部の曲がオススメです。
ゆっくりしたテンポばかりですが、落ち着いたときなどに
聴くと最適です。

BOOMとは全く違う一面ながら、「宮沢和史」が生み出した
曲達は最高な仕上がりとなっております。
（でもGANGAZUMBAは、期待はずれでした）
