パッケージの軟派さに一発ネタの臭いを感じたが、杞憂だった。
感覚的な操作で運動性溢れる巨大ロボットを自由自在に駆り、
群れる雑魚を一掃するのは単純にひたすら爽快。

継ぎ目の無い導入、ステージ移動が感情移入を高める。
視点が目まぐるしく動くのに３Ｄ酔いしにくいのは最大の長所。
３Ｄアクションに抵抗のある人にもオススメできる一本。

主人公機の戦闘A･I、ADAとの心温まる(？)交流が、不覚にも
琴線にヒットするプレイヤーも多いはずである。

ただし、プレイヤーの皆様方が口を揃えて言う通り、かなり短めなので
その点だけは覚悟していただきたい。

そろそろPS３が発売され　PS２のソフトも粗方出尽くした今　色々なソフトを振り返り

　ゲームとして最も感動したのはこのソフトだったように思う。

　ストーリーは確かに短い。　　でも考えようによっては丁度よくもある　1プレイ3〜5時間。個人的には胃もたれせずに一晩でクリアできる内容。
　何よりあの操作感は他のゲームと比べても突出している。

　VERY HARDでサイクロプスに囲まれる興奮は未だプレイしてても鳥肌もの。
　アヌビスも悪く無いけどこちらに比べるとややシューティング色が強くなってしまった感もある。

　そして対戦が熱い！
　片っ端からゲームソフトを売ってもこれだけは手放せなかった。　一番心に残ったゲーム。

　タイトルの通り、続編のANUBISをプレイしてこのゲームを知りました。即座に買ってやってみましたが、簡単操作や親切なチュートリアル、スピード感溢れる戦闘や敵をなぎ倒していく爽快感はこの時から健在だった模様。ストーリーに関しては、没頭からシリアスでドラマチックな印象を受けました。ロボットメインかと思いきや、登場人物にしっかりと重点が置かれていて、人間ドラマが濃い感じです。他の方のレビューにもあるように、ストーリーは短めで、大体４〜５時間あればクリアできる内容です。でも決して物足りなさは感じませんでした。難易度設定もあるので、ゲーム自体苦手という人でも安心して遊べると思います。他のロボット物には決して無い、不思議な魅力がありました。
