悪魔城ドラキュラＸ６８０００版のリメイクです。
難易度が高く、レベル制が無く、後半では嫌らしいトラップや敵の猛攻の中
たった4発の攻撃を受けただけでライフが０になるので
月下から始めたユーザーにはきついかもしれません。
しかし、それだけやり応えのあるゲームでもある。
それに加えて新規グラフィックを使用し、難易度を優しくしたアレンジモードもあるので
ある程度、新規の方にも親切にしている。

問題は音飛びがある事。僕は一度もなった事が無いんですけど
ＢＧＭが素晴らしい物ばかりなだけにちょっと残念ですね。

コナミX68kゲームが最盛期の頃の作品で、
当時はA-JAXやグラディウスIIなど
アーケードで人気を博したゲームが
非常に高いクオリティで移植されていた。
オリジナルは93年頃だったと思うが、このゲームを遊ぶためには
少なくとも40万円ほどの現金が必要だった（本体+MIDI音源など）。
当時指をくわえて見ているしかなかった私は
PSに移植されると聞いて感激した。

残念ながらオリジナルを知らないので比較は出来ないが、
難しいながらも非常に練られたバランスで、
きちんと解法が用意されているので理不尽さは感じない。
FC版ドラキュラや悪魔城伝説にも通じる、
古き良き時代のドラキュラといえる。
またBGMのクオリティというかサービス精神？が非常に高く、
FM音源、MIDI音源など3種類（！）用意されているあたり、
今では考えられない大盤振る舞いだ。
・・・が、基本的に遊び手に並々ならぬ努力を要求するゲームなので、
親切極まりない最近のドラキュラから入ったユーザーには
敷居が高いのも事実だと思う。
個人的にはドラキュラシリーズはこの路線を歩んでもらいたいが・・・。

この移植を決定したコナミの英断に拍手を送りたい。

このゲームはひどい評価が目立っているが、評価を残したのは絶対「月下の夜想曲」からドラキュラファンになった人達なんでしょう。　悪魔城ドラキュラの主人公はベルモンド家であり、それ以外の何者でもない。　筋肉男がムチ振って肉食って一撃で死んでなんぼのもんです。　今の人はX68000なんか知らないでしょう。　移植は･･･普通でしょう。　音飛び問題には今まで一回しか会っていません。
