 「夜会」から生まれた楽曲、歌われた楽曲を収録した、『10 WINGS』（1995年）の続編的アルバム。今作では、95年の「夜会'95 2/2」から98年の「夜会'98 海嘯」までの楽曲を収録している。『月 - WINGS』との同時発売。
 『月 - WINGS』が、あえていうならば「夜会」から独立しても十分に「中島みゆきらしい」楽曲で占められていたのに比べると、本アルバムの収録曲は、各「夜会」のコンセプトに合わせて作られた感がある（そのせいか、展開上の都合で途中で切られ、舞台では全曲聴けなかった曲もある）。その分、遊び心のある楽曲や、ふだんの「中島節」とは少々異なる楽曲も収録されていて、興味深い出来栄え。ラストの<10>ではしっかりと引き締める。（剛吉若寸也）

95~98年の{夜会}からの10曲を収録。舞台では一部しか歌われなかった「竹の歌」のフル・ヴァージョン,ビデオには収録されていない「羊の言葉」,また大幅にアレンジを変更した曲と,CDならではのスタイルで言葉の表現力の可能性にチャレンジ。

最初の『竹の歌』からも夜会独特の香りを感じます、
同時発売の「月-ＷＩＮＧＳ-」と「日-ＷＩＮＧＳ-」の
どちらを先に聞くかというと、曲調から、このアルバムは、
後に聞く方をお勧めします。
　どちらかというと、夜会の中でも大きなイベントの前に出てくる
曲が中心のように思われます。

「あなたの言葉がわからない」「羊の言葉」「明日なき我等」など、
明暗の違いのはっきりした歌が納められているように思います。
どちらか一方だけと言われたら、このアルバムをお薦めします。

夜会でお披露目した曲をまとめた一枚。月-WINGSとあわせて聴けば
あなたはもうみゆきさんの夜会の世界にドップリ浸かれる事間違いなし！
私が好きなのは「竹の歌」。何気なくでもしっかりと人生を語ってます。
「羊の言葉」も異様な感じで面白い。
