　アングラ２００１年発表の通算４作目のアルバム。
間の作品を聴いてないから、経緯はわからないけれど、
ボーカルが変わって、雰囲気が良くなったのかもしれ
ない。もちろんデビューアルバムも良かったのだが、
バンドとしての一体感が演奏から感じられるのは、デ
ビュー・アルバムからの進歩だと思われます。

　アンドレはこのバンドを結成した人物だし、彼の楽
曲はヴァイパー在籍時から結構良いものだと思います
が、アングラがアングラという個性を確立するのは、
このアルバムなんだなぁ。そう幹事ています。

　ブラジルっぽさと中世欧州の雰囲気の曲でアルバムが
構成されています。細やかな音の動き等は、デビュー作
を凌駕している。

　物事には、順序があるので、それまでの作品を卑下す
る必要はないが、デビュー作品と比較すると、優れた仕
上がりであると周囲の評価は、正しいかと思いました。

僕は、何となく購入した(特売コーナーにあった)ホーリーランドからのANGRAファンですが、今作は不朽の名作と言っても過言ではない作品だと思います。他方のレビューにもある通り、楽曲、展開、演奏技術、どれを取っても最高レベルです。ブラジル人のエネルギーには本当脱帽ですね。特にキコルーレイロはギター界のロナウジーニョでしょう!ギターキッズは必聴だよ。ドラムのアキレスも神業を繰り出してますし、メタルファン以外にも聴いて欲しい作品ですね。僕の中での史上最高の一枚!

1stからANGRAを追い続けて、ANDREが脱退という衝撃的な報せを耳にしたときは９割諦めたが、そんな壊滅的なダメージを受けた彼らが復活作をリリースした。正直不安で不安で堪らなかったが本作を聴いてそんな不安は吹き飛ぶどころか、ANGRAに対して少しでも不安を感じた自分を恥じた。それだけ素晴らしい作品ということ。本作は荘厳なインストIN EXCELISISからNOVA ERAへの感動的且つドラマティックな名曲で幕を開ける。私は#3LLENNIUM SUNのサビメロで早くも涙腺が崩壊してしまった。この曲を聴いて泣かないMETAL者がいるだろうか？そしてACID RAIN、HEROES OF SANDと環境や人間性についてドラマティックに聴かせ、HEAVY&SPEEDナンバーのUNHOLY WAR、これまた感動的なREBIRTH、分裂前のANGRAの精神状況を歌ったJUDGEMENT DAY、分裂後残された二人が再び走り出した様を歌った超名曲RUNNING ALONE（個人的にはEVIL WARNINGを想記させた）そしてアルバム本編最後を飾るクラシカルなVISIONS PRELUDEで締めるまで息を付かせない構成だ。そしてボーナストラックとしてBLEEDING HEARTでまた泣かされる、本当に罪な作品だ。

新しいメンバーの技術力は申し分ないし、確実にレベルアップしたANGRAは凄い。本国ブラジルでは国民的なグループでありANGRAを聴いたことがある者ならば容易に想像できるだろう。ここ日本での認知度がもっと上がればいいと思うし、本作はメタル好きだけの間だけで聴き継がれるのは非常に勿体ないと思う。この作品は２年も前にリリースされており来日も果たしている（素晴らしいLIVEだった）。
新作が発表される日が待ち遠しいかぎりだ。
