ベルベッツの1stで67年の作品。当時は考えられなかったノイズや不協和音を鳴らすパフォーマンスや、ドラッグやSMについて歌うという全く新しい手法で登場したアルバム。発表された当時はチャートの100位にも入らなかったみたいです。その音楽に対する姿勢は今でも多大な影響力を及ぼしてます。パンク、オルタナの始祖じゃないでしょうか。または元祖シューゲイザー。あのアンディ・ウォーホルが手掛けたジャケットもいい感じじゃないですか。
