ベートーヴェンの交響曲の中で、第６番：田園はカール・ベーム＆ウィーンフィルの組み合わせが最高だと思います。
ゆったりとしたスピード、ウィーンフィル伝統？の癖のあるホルンの響き、もうメロメロです！
演奏（録音）されてから３０年以上経ちますが、これを超える作品は無い！と私は思います。

中学２年のレコード時代以来約30年振りに同じＣＤを聴きました。それまでにいろいろな組み合わせの田園を聞きましたが、ベーム＆ウィーンフィルのこの組み合わせの田園が最高。ゆったりした曲調から、田舎ののどかな情景が脳裏に浮かびます。

私はベートーヴェンが好きだ
特に田園が大好きだ
だから，いろいろな演奏を聴いている
その中で，これが一番好きだ

カール・ベームという人は，料理人に例えると「素材のよさを生かすために，細かい作業を怠らず，最後まで手を抜かず丁寧に仕上げる和の職人(頑固親父)」みたいなところがあるけど，この演奏はまさにその典型だと思います。田園風景の細かい描写，例えば小川の水面に反射する日光のきらめきや，葉についた水滴の輝き，そういった細かいものまで一つ一つ丁寧に描き出した演奏だと思います。

田園という曲は，まさに「癒し系」の最たる曲ですが，テンポ感が重要であると思います。速すぎると当然落ち着かないわけですし，遅目でも妙に気ぜわしく落ち着かない演奏もあります。かったるいと感じる演奏もあります。このベーム/VPOの演奏は「ゆったり」とした演奏で，田園の世界観に心からゆっくりと(どっぷりと)浸ることのできる絶妙の演奏だと思います。

VPOの潤いのある響き，艶のある響きもまた絶品です。指揮自体は好きな演奏は他にもあるのですが，このVPOの響きを聴いてしまうと，他が物足りなく感じてしまうのは私だけでしょうか。

美しい，本当に美しい「田園」です。
田園が好きな人，癒されたい人には絶対のおすすめです。
ベートーヴェン，ありがとう。
ベーム，ありがとう。
VPO，ありがとう。
そう感謝したい曲，感謝したい演奏です。

ちなみに，シューベルトの方は興味がないので聴いていません。ファンの方，ごめんなさい。
