発売当時は１st、２nd比べて３rdは｢変わった｣、｢暗くて地味だ｣と言われ一般的には不評でした。前２作のＬＡメタルシーンの人気プロデューサー、ボー・ヒルによる装飾の多いゴージャスなサウンド・プロダクションに慣れた耳には、３作目のシンプルで力強いサウンドが大人しく聴こえても仕方なかったでしょう。しかし、こうやって並べて改めて聴いてみると、３rdの曲も１st、２ndと同等のクォリティの高さを持ったウィンガーらしい曲だと解ります。

選曲も私的には合格点だと思います。３rdは良い曲ばかりなので全部入っててもいいくらいですがバランス悪いですからね(^_^;) あとレブ・ビーチのギターがカッコイイ２nd収録曲“In The Day We’ll Never See”が入っていれば文句無しでした。

コレを聴いて気に入った方は是非オリジナルアルバムを聴いて下さい。全部オススメです。ファンの方もドライブのお供に持ってても損はないのでは？新曲１曲入ってますしね。

再結成がアナウンスされてもなかなか動き出さなかった感のあるウインガーが新録１曲を含むベストアルバムで復活しました。この１曲目の新録が聴き応え十分で、２ndアルバムに収録されてもおかしくない曲調の大曲にしあがっています。他の曲もベスト盤にはかかせない曲を網羅していますが、個人的に３rdの曲が多いのがちょっと....。４thに続くしのぎのアルバムです。

　　新曲1曲を含む Winger のベストです。　他にファースト‘Winger’から4曲、セカンド‘In the Heart of the Young’から5曲、サード‘Pull’から6曲収録されています。

　　80年代後半から90年最初の間に発表された最初の2枚は、キャッチー＆メロディアスなサウンドで、明るいアメリカンロックバンドって感じで（デビュー当時、Warrantとの野外ジョイントライブで見た私の印象なのですが）、大好きでよく聴いていました。　　93年の‘Pull’でイメージを変えましたが、アルバム自体は悪くないと思っていました。　　しかし、この3枚を1枚にまとまったものを続けて聴くと違いが顕著に表れ、最初の頃の方がよかったと思ってしまいました。　　

　　1曲目の新曲‘On the Inside’も‘Pull’の路線で、‘Pull’からの2~7曲目まではちょっと暗く、8曲目の‘Can't Get Enuff’のイントロの「Hey! Hey!」からパッと明るくなる感があります。　　その後のメロディアスな‘Under One Condition’、‘Rainbow in the Rose’、‘Miles Away’、‘Headed for a Heartbreak’などの曲は、Rebの泣きのギターとKipのセクシーなボーカルをより際立たせ、今聴いても名曲です（あとこれにファーストからの‘Without the Night’が入っていれば文句なしだったのですが）。　　これらメロディアスな曲と、‘Seventeen’や‘Easy Come Easy Go’などに代表されるポップでキャッチーなサウンド　-　これを期待するのならこのベスト盤ではなく、ファーストとセカンドを購入することをお薦します。 　新曲1曲に釣られて買うほどの価値はないと思います（私はまんまとこれに引っかかりましたが）。
