"SSXトリッキー"の第１作。
スピード感やトリックをキメる時の浮遊感・爽快感の原点がここに。
オススメは"SHOW OFF"モード。
現実ではできるはずのない大ジャンプやトリックやコンボが決まったときは快感！
逆に即死しているだろうと思われるような転び方をしても、何食わぬ顔でコース復帰してくれるのも良いところ。（爆）

第１作のせいかコースレイアウトや隠しコース、当たり（転倒）判定に若干の不満は残るものの、十分及第点をあげられるゲーム内容です。
ただし、各モードなどの読み込み時間がやや長いのが難点か。
評価はトリッキーと比較しての評価をつけさせていただきました。
