コミックスでも，アニメでも人気のある「機動警察パトレイバー」のオリジナルアクションゲームです。プレイヤーは，特科車両二課第２小隊に配属され，イングラム３号機を操り，難事件を解決していきます。ステージクリア型のゲームで，１話完結ですが，話が進むにつれて事件の全容がわかります。敵レイバーを倒すのが目的ですが，攻撃の仕方が特殊です。まず敵レイバーに突撃し，イングラムを「つかみ」の状態にしてから，「連続技コンボ入力ループ」へと入ります。「フラッシュウインドウ」と呼ばれるウインドウ内で，「タイミングパウダー」が消え，フラッシュした瞬間にコマンドボタンを押すことで，「レフトパンチ」や「スタンスティック」，「ローキック」などの攻撃ができ，さらにつなげることで，スペシャルアタック攻撃（一本背負いや，野明のイングラムや，太田のイングラムが助けに来る）ができます。ただ攻撃するだけでなく，敵を「説得」できたりもします。また，イングラムが装備しているリボルバーでの射撃攻撃もできます。プレイヤーが操作するイングラムも，バッテリーに制限時間があったり，戦闘中にもパートナーキャラや，後藤さんからのセリフがあったり，登場する敵レイバーも，グリフォンなど原作に登場したレイバーが登場しますし，ステージクリア後には街の被害総額などが表示されたりと，かなりこっています。ただ，操作できるのはイングラム３号機と始めの方で訓練機だけで，ゲーム内容にも分析はないので，一度クリアすれば終わりといえば，終わりです（＾＾；）パトレイバーが好きだけどまだプレイしたことのない方にはおススメです。

ストーリーはかなり良
だが、イングラム３号機以外のレイバーは(練習機のぞく)全て使えない
もう一度言うが、ストーリーはかなり良

でも、一回クリアすると・・・そこまでって感じ
