　子供のころに戻って、探偵ごっこをしているような気分になれるゲームだと思います。
　主人公の男の子と、女の子の関係もかわいらしいです。町並みもタイトル通りという感じで雰囲気が出ています。

　探偵、といっても大して推理などをするわけでもなく依頼を受けたり、町のうわさなどを聞いたりして、館などに潜入するという感じで物語りは進んでいきます。
　難しいゲームではなく、プレイ時間もちょうどいいとおもいました。
　ほのぼのわくわくしたＲＰＧです。

発売前の雑誌記事にはアクションと出ていたので気にも止めなかったのが、
その後たまたま店頭で目にした表記はアドベンチャー。
実際に遊んでみたらRPGという、そんなマイナー（かと思われる）ゲームです。

期待しないで始めたものの、
意外にもきちんと倫敦の町中が表現されているので驚きました。
主人公が使うアイテムも紅茶やサンドイッチ、パチンコなど身近なものばかり。
所々で時間軸の違うアイテムが出てきますが、その程度は気になりません。

物語そのものも、探偵助手の少年が弟分や少女と一緒に町中を駆け回るような
だいたい説明書の表紙から受ける印象で進んでいきます。
後半ちょっとイメージを覆すような展開も出てきますが、
その頃にはこの作品にどっぷり浸かっている状態なので問題はないはず。

欠点かどうか、気になった点として、
場所によって敵とのエンカウント率が高いと思うかもしれません。
気の短い人はここで星一つ減らして評価して欲しい程度に。
マップ移動時のロード時間も、急いでいる時はちょっと遅く感じられます。
特に気になるのがセーブ時間。あまりにも時間がかかるので計った所、
およそ10秒かかることがわかりました。私だけでしょうか…。
このセーブ時間のぶんだけ、星を一つ減らしました。

ドット絵なのでとっつきやすく、ゲーム自体の難易度もそれほど高くないので
｢倫敦｣と｢冒険活劇｣という言葉に惹かれる方にはお薦めです。
何分、世紀末に出た作品なので若干古めの印象は受けますが、
オーソドックスなRPGとしては良作だったのではないかと思います。
個人的には音楽がすごく好みでした。

普通のＲＰＧの様に世界を巡るタイプではありません。
ゲームタイトルにあるように倫敦市内で起こるさまざまな事件にちびっこ探偵が依頼を受けながら、解決しながら話を進めていくタイプ。
ちなみに章立てになっております。

小さな子たちが主人公なので、ほのぼのとしながらプレイ出来ます。
息抜きには良いかもしれません。

と、言いつつエンカウント率は結構高めなので若干ストレス感じちゃうかも？
