これはスパロボというものを忘れてしまった人に
やってもらいたいと思います。
ズバリ今のスパロボより難度は高いです
戦闘カットもできない非常にストレスが
たまるかもしれません。
しかし、それがスパロボされどパロボ
というもの今のスパロボが簡単すぎるのです。
敵の２回行動、強すぎる敵ユニット
下手な戦略をするとスーパーロボットは

回避が低いので集中攻撃にあい
一筋縄ではいかないスパロボです。

グレンダイザーやダイモスが使える辺りは文句なしです。
他にも真・ゲッターとかライディーンも大いに活躍してくれるので最高です。
ただ、主人公やその他の味方キャラの声が出ないのが不満かなー。

第一期スパロボの完結編で、現在でもこれを越えるスパロボはないと思います（ＳＦＣ＆Ｓ）。

最近のスパロボのようにやたら長くないので、二回目以降のプレイも苦にならないし、ロードもプレステの中では速い方です（さすがにＳＦＣ版と比べると…だけど）。　また、キャラクターの顔は湖川友鎌氏が担当しているため、アニメチックなＦやα等と比べると違和感が少ないです（これも「新」には適いませんが…）。

戦闘アニメは今見ると、かなり適当に思えるかもしれないし、一部の主役級のキャラ以外は喋りませんが（さらにデュークと勝平は喋らない！）、それでもスパロボ最高傑作だと思います。
減点対象になったのは、先の勝平とデュークのことと、ロード時間、ダイモスがＳＦＣのまんま（笑）ということぐらいです。
