5.0 out of 5 stars 極限状態での剥き出しの人間性（残酷さ・性欲・愛）, 2002/3/2
　経済ボケ・平和ボケしている日本人に必見の映画だ。この映画は、戦争に対する甘い幻想を打ち砕く威力がある。あまりに剥き出しの人間の残酷さ・狡猾さに、妙に納得してしまった。

この映画の印象は、戦争という極限状態における「人間の狡猾さ」だけではない。それは、死を予感した人の「愛への逃避」と、死に直面した人々の「生物学的な性欲」である。まさに人間の隠されたありのままの姿が、戦争という極限状態で剥き出しになっている。人間の狡猾さを感じさせた場面は、赤軍将校が物理的に不可能な突撃させて殺すことで時間稼ぎをする。そしてたまらず撤退する兵隊を貴重な機関銃で見せしめに虐殺したことだ。機関銃が、小銃のみの兵隊を虐殺するだけの無意味な兵器に見えた。この味方への戦法は、モンゴル帝国の後継国であるロシアや中国なら納得である。しかもドイツはソ連人の奴隷化を実行していたので、ソ連兵に味方などいない状況であった。この極限状態で、ドイツ兵はソ連の女を強姦し、ソ連兵は女性兵士や市民と乱交していたはずだ。そこまで描写されていなかったが、人は死を予感すると異常に性欲が高まるものらしい。だから無法状態であることも手伝い、戦地での強姦が高まるのである。しかし主人公とその上司は、乱交をすることもなく、一人の才色兼備な女性との愛の争奪を行った。彼は、スターリングラードに向かう鍵のかけられた列車で、その女性を一目惚れする。そしてこの「癒しの愛」が、殺伐とした剥き出しの人間性を描く映画の印象を中和してくれる。

「愛するターニャ。今日も僕は君のために、またひとり敵を撃つ。」です。私の考える「ひとり」は「一人」でもあるし「独り」でもあります。単純に考えれば愛するターニャへの愛の囁きにも聞こえますが、映画を見ればそれが愛の囁きではないことがわかると思います。多くは語りません。戦争での悲劇、戦場での愛・・・さまざまことをそれぞれが感じ取ってもらいたい映画です。

　戦争映画。嫌いな方も多いと思います。私もあまり好きではありません。
映像にはただひたすら人が死んでいくさまを捉えています。かつての戦争は、
すべてのものを焼き尽くすほど悲惨なものでした。現在おこなわれている戦争
も同じです。予測もつきません。

ただいえることは一つ。人間は愛を信じて生きていること。

愛を信じるがゆえに、その目的に向かって人は盲目につき進んでいく
と僕はおもうんです。お互いのおかれている立場が、少しでも分かち合えたら...とおもうと残念でなりません。この映画はその極限状態におかれた人々を描いています。愛を信じてこそ行える行為..矛盾した行動。

主人公はその中で葛藤します。苦悩の中でひとつの答えを見出す主人公。

自分でもきっとこうするに違いない。そうであってほしい　とおもいつつエンドロールが始まります。考えさせられる映画です。
