クラシック音楽好きでも、シベリウスのピアノ曲に
詳しい人は少ない。まして、カスキ、メリカントなど
よほど詳しい人でないと知らない作者の曲が
このＣＤには収められている。
北欧独特の物悲しさ、胸が締め付けられような
切ないメロディー、素朴な感情表現が、舘野泉の
繊細なピアノで奏でられる。

シベリウスのピアノ曲が欲しくて購入したが、

最も気に入った曲は、メリカントの
ゆるやかなワルツだった。静かな感動が溢れ、
胸の底から暖かくなるような、美しい曲だ。

シベリウスの「樅の木」が目当てで、このCDを購入しましたが、他の作品の美しさにもひきこまれました。まず、『樹の組曲』の曲と曲のつながりの絶妙さといったら、小宇宙にいるようです！他の作曲家の作品も見逃せません。メロディーとハーモニーの美しさに、癒されることでしょう。ピアノの一講師、個人の意見としては、発表会や演奏会で、ベートーベン、リスト、ショパンなどが主たるなかで、選曲としても注目すべき美しい作品がたくさん、このアルバムには、ちりばめられていると思います。

~超絶技巧や難解を重んじ奉るゲンダイオンガクとはまるっきり別の世界。舘野さんがカスキを弾いた時はお国の人にすら「何であんな軟派なものを」と驚かれたとか。しかし、そこにはまだ汲み尽くされていなかった泉があった訳で、そのエッセンスを私達はここで聴く事ができる。特に二枚のそれぞれのラストナンバー、メラルティンの「雨」はまるで恋愛小説の一幕~~のような激しさと静けさ、そしてもう一枚のクーラの「結婚行進曲」は瑞々しい叙情。興味を持った方は舘野さんがそれぞれの作曲家のアルバムを出しているので、余計に深くはまる事ができます。~
