米国のミリタリー雑誌「Soldier of Fortune」監修による3Dバイオレンスアクションシューティングゲーム。10のミッションと26のレベル、デスマッチ、特定の個人を狙う暗殺モード、争奪戦などのマルチプレイ環境を提供する。プレイヤーは米国政府に雇われた「コンサルタント=傭兵」として、テロリストに奪われた核爆弾を奪回し、テロリストの野望を阻止するというストーリー。登場する武器や兵器は実在のもので、3DゲームエンジンにQuake 2エンジンを拡張し採用。また、「GHOULシステム」というキャラクター作成ツールにより、さまざまな顔、表情のキャラクターが登場する。飛び散る脳味噌、はみ出す内臓など過激な暴力表現あり。日本語マニュアルが付属した英語版。
