　ミスゴブリンのミワが、唄う『赤色エレジー』。
　あがた森魚氏のヒット曲を、女性ボーカルが歌い上げている。
　途中から、ドラムの音が入り、ちょっと、ジャズっぽく仕上がっている。
　後半は、テンポが少し早めになり、ボーカルに力強さが加わり、渋い。
　あがた氏のと聞き比べてみるのも、いいですよ。

犬神サーカス団だけが目当てで買ったのですが、Miss Goblinがカバーした「赤色エレジー」にはまりました。渋くてカッコイイです。
犬神サーカス団によるカバー「竹田の子守唄」（赤い鳥）は、前から犬神サーカス団のライブでもお馴染みだった曲。語りをくっつけてストーリーを作り、死んだ母さんがよく歌ってくれた子守唄として「竹田の子守唄」を寂しげに歌い上げます。部落差別とも関わっている地方民謡なので、土着的なものの持つ残酷性・閉塞感、日本的な郷愁・狂気・恐怖を呼び起こす犬神サーカス団の音楽の中に何の違和感もなく溶け込める楽曲です。メロディーは犬神サーカス団の曲と比べると多少明るめですが、犬神サーカス団は普段からこのぐらい懐かしい感じのメロディーの曲を作っている人たちなので、犬神の他の曲と並べても違和感なく聞けます。
