決して、うまくない歌唱力なのに（というより…？）なぜか、聴く人を酔わせてしまう『北山節』　歌の合間にポツポツと入るトークも最高！　彼の、ファンには、絶対聞いて欲しい一枚！そして、初めて聴く人にも、北山ワールドの魅力を知ってもらいたい。彼を取り囲む仲間達との関係も感じ取れる！
ギターの弾き語りで唄う『夢』は、最高！

歌唱力は確かに問題があるかもしれない。
だが、きたやまおさむに限っていえば、
歌唱法がどうの、音程がどうのというのは
間違い。音楽を愛する者なら、きたやまの
うたから、きっと何かを感じ取るに違いない。

「積木」、「あの素晴しい愛をもう一度」は、
必聴の名曲。

一度、きたやまワールドにハマると、なかなか
抜け出せなくなる。それほど、きたやまおさむの
うたは魅力的である。

きたやまさんのお人柄が感じられる癒し系でした。もちろん、心にずきっとくる歌もありましたが・・・甘くて、酸っぱくて、辛くて、香ばしい、いろんな味が混ざっています。欲を言えば、きたやまさんがソロで歌っている「あのすば」「白い色は恋人の色」「戦争を知らない子供たち」を聞きたかった。還暦コンサートでは聴けるかな？
