このアルバムでビョークはデビューしたわけではなく、シュガーキューブスの解散からソロになったのである。
彼女の歌声はすでによく知られていたが、このソロになってから、彼女はシャウトで歌うことが多くなった。
一曲目のヒューマン・ビヘイビア―からビョークの迫力のある歌声が耳に残り、最後のPLAY　DEADまで飽きさせない歌が続く。

久しぶりに聴くと、やっぱりすごいな・・・と感心。何年経っても飽きないアルバムです。

ビョークがデビューした時、なんて変な子？と感じながらも、とっても気になっていました。それでアルバムを買ったけど、聴いた事のない声、音楽に驚いたのを、今でも忘れません。

今では憧れの女性なんです。

Bjorkの才能を高らかに宣言するかのような作品

彼女ならではの楽曲が次々と続きます。
シングルカットされた曲は非常に有名ですので、何度か耳にされているのではないでしょうか。

まずは入門遍としてこの一枚をお聞き下さい。
