Lindsay Pagano（リンドセイ・パガーノ）、日本ではまだデビューしていない１５歳。ブリトニーなどのティーン・ポップかと思って聴いてみると、これがまったく違う！！音楽的にももちろん、あと髪の毛も金髪じゃないし・・。本国アメリカでもまだまだ無名に近いLindsayだけど、これからどんどん有名になっていくこと請け合い！！！理由はこのＣＤを聞いてみたらわかると思います。１曲目のEverything U Rはメロディアスでイントロ部分が特にキレイで印象的です。シングルにもなっています。あと２、４曲目はとてもノリがよくて聞き手も聞きやすいです。逆に３、５、６曲目はバラード!!!って感じです。（私的にはノリのいい方がどっちかというといいと思う！全部いいんだけどね）

Ｍ２Ｍが好きなら、絶対お勧めです。
Lindsay Pagano、彼女はJude Coleという名前のプロデューサーの元でデビューしました。両親はバンドをやっていて、ある日お母さんが、彼女を歌わせてみよう、と思って歌わせたら、あらまぁ不思議。「あなた、結構上手いじゃない。」

そしてあるカントリーシンガーが家を訪れた日、彼はLindsayの歌を聴いて惚れ込んでしまって、デモテープを録って業界で渡す人を探していて、Jude Coleさんの手元に届いた訳です。
このアルバムの曲を自分で作ってるワケじゃないのに、彼女の声は聞き手を引きつける力があります。
ハイライトは、シングルカットされたEverything U R、Dreams Like This、と＃１(With A Bullet)でしょう。
彼女の歌唱力を活かすのは、スローテンポのCryin' Shameと、あの伝説のポール・マッカートニーもコラボレーションしたというSo Bad。
ラテンフレーバーが満喫なRomeoとダンスしたくなるようなIt Doesn't Get Any Betterも良いです。

見た目のアイドルっぽさとは打って変った歌唱力に聞き惚れました。
１５歳でここまでやるか・・
本国アメリカでは目新しさに欠ける為か、辛口の批評をしている方も中にはいるようですが、彼女の実力に裏打ちされたボーカルに疑いの余地は無く、日本でブレイクするのは時間の問題でしょう。
このアルバムの随所にプロデューサー”Jude Cole”のテイストが感じられて、彼のファンにとってもたまらない１枚となるのではないでしょうか？
とはいえ、１曲ごとに見事な世界観を創り上げているのはLindsay自身です。
１曲目の「Everything U R」はこのアルバムを代表する爽やかで軽快な一曲に仕上がっています。
最初でぎゅっと聞き手のハートをつかんで、中盤の「Amazing High」ではスローテンポなバラードをじっくりと聞かせ、７曲目の後半からは「Burning in Me」「＃１（With a Bullet）」等のアップテンポ調やロックな曲で一気に盛り上がります。
特にジャンル分けしなくても、１枚のアルバムの中に色んなタイプの音楽が上手に盛り付けられていて、でも全体を通して聞くときちんと統一されたLindsay Paganoの世界がある、といった感じです。（はっきり言って全部良いです＾＾；）
デビューアルバムでここまで表現出来れば大したもの。次回作が楽しみな新人アーティストです。
