エフェクトのほとんど無い、生々しいラストバトル。きっと元気な人間は退屈してしまう話だろう。

そういう人は、少し歳くって、元気がなくなってきてからもう一度見るべき。若い頃には感じなかった感動を得られる筈。

全49話+新春スペシャル46.5話を踏破。

仮面ライダー見て泣きまくってる自分も如何なものかと思う気持ちもあるが、こんなに感動したTVドラマは久しぶりなので涙も出ようと言うもの。

ストーリーの感動ももちろんだが、とにかくかっこいいのだ。オープニング映像の炎の中で赤クウガが構えるショットから、ライダーキックのときに右足の踵をキュキュっとひねる仕草から、「見ていて下さい！俺の！変身！」（書いてて潤むぞ(T-T)）ひえ〜〜〜〜っ、かっこいい〜〜〜〜〜！

五代雄介（オダギリジョー）と一条薫（葛山信吾）のツートップにゃ、もうメロメロでした。
ジョギングシーンの土木系スウェットはいただけなんだが(-"-)

ドラマを見ていて、制作者側の熱い気持ちをこんなに感じたドラマは初めてだった。たぶん五代を生かし続けるのは制作者が望んだこと、彼らのメッセージだと確信します。

だって本当はきれいごとがいいんだもん！

こんなストレートな言葉をTVで聞けるなんて。感無量。

47話は戦闘こそないものの、五代の0号との決闘に向けた決意を感じる話である。
鬱陶しい雨は五代の心境を表しているようにも感じた。

そして、48話の0号との戦い。決して派手ではない。
ただ殴りあうだけの戦いだが、そこに
“五代の悲しみの拳”と“0号の喜びの拳”
の二人の戦いに対する想いの違いを描いている。

最終話である49話は後日談で未確認生命体がいなくなり、平和を取り戻した人々の日常が語られている。
あの澄んだ青空は五代の笑顔の象徴のように感じる。
