陳腐な言い方だけど、本当に捨て曲がない。全曲輝いてて、なおかつアルバムとしてもまとまってる。これぞヤイコの到達点。
たしかにファーストのような疾走感はない。でもヤイコの真価ってメロウな曲だとか泣かせる曲にこそ現れるんじゃないかと思う。そのフィールドにおいては椎名林檎だって踏み込めないんだから。
「手と涙」と「Life's Like A Love Song」とが隣り合ってる時点で感激なんだけど、本当にそれ以外だって負けてない。一人でも多くこのアルバムを聴いてほしい、そう切に願う。

ちょっと疲れて、んで、涙を流したくなる、泣きたくて仕方がなくなったとき、私はこのアルバムを聴きます。
珠玉のバラードが後半３連発、これで涙腺は全開、泣くっきゃない。
ちょっとリリースから時間がかなり経った作品だけれど、色褪せることなく私の中で、ベストセラーであり、ロングランの作品でいつづけています。

前半は大半がシングル曲、折り返しからアルバム曲が増える傾向にあるのは、ちょっとだけ賛成できないけれど、でも、Ｙａｉｋｏの音楽はそんなの関係なしで耳に届く、心に響くから別に気にしない、問題なし!!
Ｙａｉｋｏの音楽はマジでいいのだヾ(≧∇≦)ﾉ" 。

矢井田瞳の一番の魅力であるメロディーラインが気持ちいい名盤だと思います。荒削りな印象があるファーストと比べると、歌詞、メロディー共に洗練された印象を受けます。今やライブのスタンダードとなったナンバーが数多く収録されていることからも、矢井田瞳の代名詞的なアルバムと言えます。ただ正直なところ、このセカンドにくらべ、最近の２枚は物足りないです。リラックスした感じで遊びの要素もありやりたいことはわかるのですが、私は彼女の魅力は直球な表現にあると思います。気持ちを素直に歌ったような曲の方が私は好きです。
