マイクキンセラのソロ。歪んだギターなどありません。やさしい歌声とアコースティックギターがめちゃくちゃ心に染みます。そして聞き終わった後、優しい気持ちになれます(笑)　僕は寝る前に良く聞いています。疲れきっている人にぜひ聞いてもらいたいです。

スロウコア/サッドコアにも通ずるメランコリックで悲しいサウンドは
孤独という心の隙間に染み込みます。
感情を押し殺したかのようなMike Kinsellaの声は淡々としていて、爪弾くアコギのアルペジオは
美しく、そして危うさをも持ち合わせたサウンドは"American Footbal"のような洒落た雰囲気ななく、
ゆったりとした音空間を作りあげています。
Owenの作品の中で最もガラス細工のように繊細で、寂しい音色が響き渡るアルバム。
非常に音数の少ない中にも控え目な電子音が良い味を出していて、そこに温かみを感じることができる
ところは唯一の救いかもしれません。

たんたんと進みます。
何度も聴いてみて下さい、一度目は退屈に感じるかもしれません。
日を改めて10回聴いてみて下さい、
それでも退屈？
う〜ん、あまり感性も耳も肥えてませんね。
そんな人はオアシスでも聴いていなさい。
切れ目無く続く8〜9曲目が一応クライマックスなんですが、
日本版は10曲目にボーナストラックが入ってます。
なくてもいいのですが、
…ないほうがむしろいいのですが、この人のアルバムの場合
1曲得したと無理矢理納得し諦められるなら日本版を。
At Home with Owenと比べると
…アビーロードのA面、B面のようなものかしらん？
一曲、一曲のインパクトでは負けるかもしれませんが、
全部を通して聴いた時、それを補ってあまりある幸福に出会えます。
…もしこのアルバムを好きになったらという条件付きですが。
