   英国トランス・テクノの第一人者オービタルはこれまでにも何度か、全曲通して素晴らしいアルバムを完成させるのではないかと予感させてきた。リミックスEP『Diversions』にはトランス・テクノのまぎれもない名曲が1曲あったが、多くのトラックは素晴らしいとは言いがたかった。本作は力強く幕を開ける。オープニングの「Tension」はまさにオービタル的な首がねじれそうなトラックで、切り刻まれるループとサウンドが着実にエナジーをほとばしらせながら、オーケストラ風テクノ「Funny Break (One Is Enough)」になだれこんでいる。「Oi!」では以前のオータビルをふたたび鼻で笑い、あやふやなキーボードとくつろいだテンポでアンビエント音楽の領域に入りこんでいる。さらにオービタルは勇敢にも刺激的で独創的な世界に頭からダイブする。「Waving Not Drowning」ではフォーク風の味つけでピンク・フロイドへの傾倒をみせ、「Meltdown」ではブレイクビートにしっかり手を染めている。けれども本作でも、数曲はオービタルのあの素晴らしさとはかけ離れている。アルバムの半分は壮大な実験的トラックで、やり過ぎか物足りないかのどちらかな気がしてならない。ジ・オーブやKLF、それにワンダーワールドとさえもちがい、オービタルは全曲通して傑作と言えるアルバムをいまだに探し求めているのだ。（Steffan Chirazi, From Amazon.com）

今年4月に日本盤が出て、それから5ヶ月遅れてようやく発売したUS盤です。
遅れたことに対するお詫びなのでしょうか、他国盤には無い2枚目が付いています。
そのオマケCDが、半端じゃなく凄い！
前作、Middle of Nowhereに収録されていたStyleやNothing Leftの多数のバージョン違いやシングル「Beached」のB面であるDr.Look Out、日本盤にボーナストラックとして収録され、感動の出来だったBeelzebeatやDVDに収録されていたMonorail等本当に盛りだくさんの内容です。アルバム本編よりもこのオマケの方が収録時間が長く、Orbital、ひいてはテクノを愛する人なら買って絶対に損はしないと思います。
願わくば、Omenもいつか再録して欲しいものです。

　『 オゥルトゥギャザー 』、二人のスケルトンはよく見ると、電飾眼鏡を装着済み、芸が細かいですね。　さて、このアルバムは、またもや新しい彼らを感じさせてくれます。　さすがに巨匠 オービタル 、ファンの間でも賛否両論が語られる中、単純な原点回帰に至るわけでもなく、活動中止するでもなく、自分達の音楽を突き詰めていく姿には惚れ惚れします。
　いきなり "Tension" という、その名の通りのメカニカルで電子全開のトラックに始まり、上がったテンションを "Funny Break"[ 奇妙な休憩 （直訳） ] でクールダウンさせます。　多くの音やヴォーカルが、パーカッシブに日常の生活を描き、転回し、BGMのように溶け込む "Pay Per View" 不思議な魅力と世界観にあふれたベスト・ナンバーです。　他、"Oi！" や "Dr Who" 、などの名作、そしてメリハリの効かした配列にも刮目。　ちなみに、Tr.12 の "Funny Break [ One Is Enough ]" は日本版のみのボーナス・トラックです。 後半のシンセの開放感と透明度の凄さは期待を裏切りません。

　邦盤に遅れてリリースされた洋盤の 『 オールトゥギャザー 』 、 見ての通り、ジャケットのベースは同じ仕様ですが、先行の邦盤を一蹴するかのような豪華ボーナス・ディスクを背負ってます。　本編はもちろんのことですが、このボーナス・ディスクがメインに勝るとも劣らないデキあがりです。
　まず、トラック・リストを見て頂ければお気づきの通り、基本的にはリミックスです。　が、しかし、オリジナルも数曲ありますし、また、以前のアルバムのリミックスが中心で、ファンにはなかなか楽しめる内容ではないでしょうか。　"STYLE" のリミックス "Bigpipe Style"、また、"Nothing Left" のリミックス "Funny Break (Weekend Ravers Mix)" などは、オービタルらしいといえば、“らしい切り口”の曲調に。　"STYLE" がいくつか収録されていますが、 どれもオリジナリティに溢れていますのでなかなか楽しいです。　しかし、このディスクでも特筆すべきは、やはり、"Monorail" でしょうか。　「♪ピコピコ、キンキン♪」、これぞオービタルの真骨頂、チープな電子音で奏でる ハートノル・ワールド 。 「この音楽、カッコいい」、その一言で十分なテクノではないでしょうか。
