　３の「四つの季節」はジャズ歌手であった笠井紀美子さんがかまやつひろし氏のプロデュースで制作した、ロック色の強い特異なアルバム「アンブレラ」に納められていたスローな佳作です。

　この曲以外は全て「喫茶ロック（又はフォーク）」というジャンルに割とぴったり来る作品ばかりなのですが、私には「四つの季節」が何故収録されたのか、選んだ方の意図がよくわかりません。

　そういえば「アンブレラ」はＣＤ化される予定だったとうわさで聞いておりましたが、結局このレビューを書いている時点では実現しておりません。もしかしたらソニーさんはこれとクロスリンクさせるつもりが有ったのかも？

　私はジャズ歌手としての笠井紀美子さんがすごーく好きなんですけれども、「アンブレラ」ははっきり言って失敗作だったと思っています。
　彼女は何でも歌いこなせる人だと思いますが、残念ながらこのアルバムではムッシュかまやつ氏と影のプロデューサーＹＭＯ細野氏の感覚には双方向で合わなかったのだと思います。

　なお同じように日本語で歌った「ＴＯＫＹＯ　ＳＰＥＣＩＡＬ」は現在でも良く聴いております。彼女の最高傑作アルバムだと思っています。
　こちらから「やりかけの人生」なんかを選んでも良かったのでは。
　「喫茶ロック」では無いかもしれませんが、「四つの季節」よりはかなり良い作品ですよ。

名前は知っている…
だけど音源に接する機会がない…
そんなバンドやデュオの曲が
"喫茶ロック"という巧いことつけたなぁという
名前の下、鬼のように詰まっています。
オススメです。
いろんな発見が待っています。
