「かもめがとんだ日」「迷い道」の連続大ヒット曲をシンガーソングライターとしてこの世に送り出した大型新人シンガソングライタとして日本音楽会に華々しくデビューしたのもつかの間、彼女はスランプに落ち込む。その理由は、大ヒットを連発し続けることを余儀なくされる周りの音楽関係者の期待。思い悩む彼女がスランプから脱出した後、発表した曲が「唇よ熱く君を語れ」。

そんなポップ界の先駆者的存在である渡辺真知子の「第1の光」と暗闇を超えて再度手に入れた「第2の光」を示す渡辺真知子最高傑作集となっているのがこのCD。

だまされたと思って買って聞いてみてください。損はしません。

渡辺真知子の代表曲を6曲載せている。
おそらく「迷い道」「かもめが翔んだ日」「唇よ,熱く君を語れ」の3曲が特に有名だろう。
私の一番のお気に入りは「ブルー」。曲も歌詞もすばらしい。これは音程が広いので、結構歌うのが難しい。特に最後のフレーズ「あなたと私いつも 背中あわせのブルー」のところ。

渡辺真知子のデビュー当時を知っている人がもう一度聞きたいときや、初めて聞く人の入門集としても、手軽に買えるのでおすすめである。
もっと聞きたい人は「2000 BEST 渡辺真知子」を買えばよい。こちらは全部で16曲入っている。

なっなんと往年のヒット曲が６曲も入って、この価格。
当時はシングルレコード一枚700円ぐらいだったと思うけど
なかなか買えなかったんだな~。
とても懐かしいけど、ブルーなんかは今聞いても
名曲だと思う。最高です！！

画竜点睛を欠く、といったところ。
メジャーデビュー以降の彼女しか知らない人にはお勧めしますけど。
