池上遼一氏の一連の作品に、北斗の拳を足して、気合と特撮と香港映画の楽しさとすごさを詰め込んだ快作。
ツボにはまりまくった演出に、ストーリー（ちょっと　急スピードで走り抜けすぎの感もありますが）に　あぁ、やっぱり英雄活劇はこうでなくっちゃと見終わった後、拍手したくなること間違いなしです。

コミックスである原作をＣＧにワイヤーアクションと　ここまで再現＆パワーアップして見せられ、酔えます。
もう、これは、一種の美学。型に近いもんでしょう。
忍者や武士道の設定など、つっこみたくなるところも多数ありますが、見終わったら気持ちよく疲れ、元気になれて、また見たくなる１本です。

映像と音声のリズム感を増すため、ぜひオリジナルの広東語で見てください。

とにかくイーキンチェンがかっこいい！彼の子供役のニコラスも最高！日本の忍者が登場したときは面食らってしまったが･･･｡あーゆー風に解釈されている日本なんだと改めてがっかりした。イーキンを守るホテルの支配人役に意外な人物が・・・。香港のワイヤーアクションにまたまたすごさを感じた一作品でした。

舞台は中国とニューヨーク。
イーキン・チェン主演。
アクション映画で、シリアスな役どころなので笑わないのがちょっと残念。
前に見た「東京攻略」と同様ツッコミをかなり入れたくなる映画。
日本の忍者の刺客とか現れますがとっても妙です。
ユン・ピョウが懐かしかった（笑）
ニコラス・ツェーも可愛いです。
