   漫画家であった石井隆が初めて映画監督に挑戦した作品。以降石井は『死んでもいい』『GONIN』『花と蛇』などで、エロスとアクションの世界で独自の作風を確立することになる。
   患者から暴行を受け、恋人にも裏切られたナースの名美(桂木麻也子)と、会社をクビになり妻から逃げられた村木(竹中直人)。不幸のどん底にあるふたりが偶然出会い、そして惹かれ合っていく。
   村木と名美という役名は、後の石井監督作品にも多用される男女の代名詞。石井監督は、信じる者や環境に裏切られ、堕ちて行く宿命を背負ったふたりの男女が、それでも求め合う様子を一貫して描き続ける。本作はその第一章とも言うべき作品で、厳然と確立された世界観は、新人監督とは思えないほどの独自性に満ちている。（斉藤守彦）

日活ロマンポルノ最末期にも、活動屋の意地はあったと言うべき１本。
ＡＶ女優を借りて主演に据え、見るからに苦しげな状況下で撮っても、「映画」になっている。
巨額を費やした大作のはずが、「映画になっていない」作品と比べて、ここではカメラマンも照明マンも本当に「いい仕事をしている」感じがする。
まさしく石井隆監督作品の原点であり、この作品が無ければ「ヌードの夜」「ＧＯＮＩＮ」も無かった。その意味で星４つ。

~生々しい性描写や痛さの伝わる暴力シーン、そういった生臭さを含めて
比較的よくできている作品。竹中直人の演技もやりすぎておらず好感が持てる。
雨に濡れたシャツが身体にまとわりつくような後味を残す作品で、退廃的な雰囲気が好き
なら気に入るかもしれない。ただし暴力や性描写は嫌いという人には向かないでしょう。

~冒頭から中盤まで生々しいセックス描写が目につくが、
そういった生臭さを含めてよくできた映画ではないかと思う。
竹中直人がやはりキレキレの良い演技をしていて、彼のファンなら一見の価値あり。
逃避行から冷たいラストまで、テンポも良い。雨に濡れたシャツが身体に張り付いたような
~~
後味を遺す作品で、退廃的な映画が好きな人は気に入るでしょう。ただし暴力や
性描写が苦手な人にはお勧めしません。~
