作風の異なる8点の作品集ですが
前半は東欧、ロシア等のアニメーションと
内容、作風の違いがあまり感じられず
　1回観たらもう観なくていいかも
という程度の感想しかもてませんでした
しかし
タイトルになっている8番目の「夜の蝶」は
ヨーロッパ、東欧に限らず
あらゆるアニメーションの中で類を見ない独特の世界を持ち、

何度も繰り返し観たいモノです。
作品の舞台となっている
ポール・デルヴォーを知らなかったとしても
理屈で理解するのではない　
不思議な感覚から目が離せなくなります。

個人的な希望でいえば
この８作品の収録でこの価格はイタイ。
後半４作品、あるいは３作品のみの収録で
価格をもっと抑えるべきだと思いました

一話一話かなりつくりが違うので同じ作家の作品でも結構好き嫌いが分かれると思います。しかしこの作家のメッセージというものはどの作品からもちゃんと伝わって来ますし、それを支えるセンスと技術はとても高いものがあります。個人的には人魚の話が好きです。子供に観せるというよりも大きくなった人が観るもののように思います。あとタイトルの「夜の蝶」はポール・デルウ゛ォーの絵が舞台なので彼の作品が好きな方は是非。本当に絵の中に居る入った気がします。

同じ作者が作ったとは思えない、全く違う作風の作品が8本。
手法も絵柄も、使ってる画材も違う。
共通してるのは、「動き」への情熱とアイデア、そして何かを広く伝えようとする姿勢。
アニメーションって「何でもあり」なんだと再認識させてくれる作品集だ。
