兵士の物語は、ＣＤでの発売は数多くありますが、ビデオになるのは珍しいです。
ＣＤでは、「踊られ」の部分が欠けていますからね。
ラミュズ版なので原作に忠実です。
篠井英介さんも、「しのいと書いてささいと読みます。覚えて帰ってください」などジョークを連発。

いっこく堂さんはもちろん腹話術を使い分けて２つの声を使い、兵士と悪魔の両方を演じます。
基本的に人形は持っていませんが、ちらっと顔を出す場面があります。いつもの人形ではありませんが。
山田和也さんの演出も面白おかしく、思わず笑ってしまう場面もあります。
演奏もほぼ完璧で、録音環境もビデオのわりにはととのっています。

しかもビデオ（ＤＶＤも）には映像特典がついていてラッキーです。
