　ついに出た。フランスの大ピアニスト，カサドシュの作品集。彼は専らピアニストとしてのみ有名なので，作曲家であることや，その作品が意外にも印象主義的で，おまけに出来がよいことは殆ど知られていない。このCDは彼のヴァイオリン曲に焦点を当てたもの。ドビュッシーのヴァイオリン・ソナタを思わせる幽玄な第１番は，彼に作曲を手ほどきし，旋法性の高いその作風に強い影響を与えたマリー・フランソワ・エマニュエルに献呈されたもの。後期ミヨーを思わせる和声法がアクセントとして用いられる第２番は同じく大ヴァイオリニストのジーノ・フランチェスカッティに献呈。ショーソンに捧げた掉尾の楽曲は，CHAUSSONの文字を旋律の進行に読み替えるという手法で，ラヴェルの『フォーレの名による子守歌』や!『ハイドンに捧ぐ』などに倣ったものだろう。カサドシュらしくフレーズはリフ主体で技巧的。しかし，いずれも印象主義や後期ロマン派の影響下に，フランスらしいエスプリに富む。演奏も軽く滑らかでヴァイオリンはグリュミオー彷彿の美音に溢れ，掛け値なしに素晴らしい。嬉しすぎるCD化だ。この機会にぜひ耳にしていただきたいと思う。
