『image』で知った羽毛田氏の作品に興味があり、ずいぶん前に購入した〜scene〜「氷点2001」ふと思い出して聴いてみました。このCDを聴くたびに感じるのは、羽毛田氏のピアノの音色がとても美しいこと。そしてそれに加えて、imageオーケストラの弦の音色も、鬼束ちひろさんのボーカルも素晴らしく、すべてが静かに心の奥までしみわたります。
「traces」では、ちひろさんはこんな歌い方も出来る人だったんだと新鮮な感動を覚えました。「infection」は piano ver. とNAOTOさんの viola ver. もありますし、ドラマを見たことがなくても充分楽しめます。
あらためてピアノの魅力に気づかされた、私にとっては思い出深く、大切な「出会い」の作品です。

まだ購入して日が浅いのですが、もっと早く手にしてればよかったと思いました。
鬼束ちひろさんのファンなので、彼女が歌う「traces」目当てで購入したのですが、全曲素晴らしいのでラッキーでした。羽毛田さんの作る曲は、もの悲しさがあり荘厳な感じで上品です。
BGMとしてよく流していますが、心地良いし、何回聴いても飽きません。
因みに鬼束さんの歌う「traces」は、いつもの彼女の低音から中音の力強い歌声とは違い、高音で歌っているので新鮮です。神々しいボーカルですよ。

TVドラマや映画のサウンドトラックにありがちなメインテーマ以外インスト曲として聴き難い・・・という事がまったくありません。
全ての曲が名曲といえます。
ピアノ曲が溢れる中、12曲目のトランス調の曲も引き立ちます。
羽毛田氏のファンでなくとも買いかと。
