5.0 out of 5 stars サミュエル・ホイ(許冠傑・ほゆぐんぎ), 2007/7/15
この映画は、サムの初単独主演作品である。日本に於いては彼はマイケルの影に隠れてきた(と感じる人もいる)。しかし彼の本業は歌手である。これは僕の主観だが、彼は世界一のメロディーメイカーである。引退していた彼が０４年に復活コンサートを香港コロシアムで行った際、僕は香港に長期滞在した。チケットも無いのにだ。初日、入り口で僕は彼の曲の弾き語りをやった。TVニュースや新聞や雑誌の取材も受けた。そしてコンサートは始まり、僕は外に漏れる音を堪能した。復活の曲は「最佳拍木當」(ちょいかいぱ「く」とん)つまり本作の主題歌だった。友情を歌うこの曲はもはや彼の名詞の様な曲であり、当時歴代一位の大ヒットを記録した本作は香港映画史に残る不滅の金字塔である。BOOシリーズの様な徹底したドタバタは無いが、現代風アクションを加味したコメディは当時斬新だったなあ。

この悪漢探偵シリーズは５まで続くのですが
はっきり言って面白いのは３までです
（残念ながら３「皇帝密使」はDVD化されていませんが）
そしてこれが第一作
主役三人の出会いなどが描かれ
これを見ておかないと２や３を見てもおもしろさ半減です
ナイトライダー的なス―パーカー対決もみもの？かも

また監督が五福星のチビことエリックツァンなところが香港の不思議
この人もとサッカー選手っちゅーからまた不思議ですねー

サミュエル・ホイが主役ってことで期待して観たのだけど、
つまらなくはないけど、面白くもなかったです。（まぁ、あくまで個人的に）

脱・カンフー映画を目指して製作されたらしいですが、どうも印象が薄くて・・・。
監督エリック・ツァン、準主役カール・マッカ、
ゲストのディーン・セキとツイ・ハークといったメンツは見ものなのですがねぇ・・・。

サミュエルは、やはり「Mr.BOO!」シリーズでお兄さんたちとつるんでたほうが面白い。

この作品に出たことで一番上の兄マイケルの怒りを買った、
というのも分かる気が（＾＾；）
