モグワイは
ノイズを音楽たらしめた意味で
ソニック・ユース、マイ・ブラに並ぶ
功績があると、個人的に思います。

彼らのフルアルバムは全て愛聴盤なのですが、
デビューから3年間にリリースされた
EP3タイトルをコンパイルした今作は、
彼らの感性の迸りを収めたという点で
彼らを知る絶好のアルバムと思います。

ノイズの洪水、メランコリア、

静から動へのめくるめくカタルシス、
自在に鳴動するギター・サイケデリア。

粒よりの楽曲から発せられる
さまざまなメッセージが
ギターノイズの潮流となって
耳から脳、そして心を刺激します。
