１曲目の「UNDER THE SUN」を聴いた時に、クラっともうしびれました。
狂気一歩手前の正気状態って、こんな感じ？
そんな気分ではじまるこのアルバムには、意外にも希望の風が吹いています。曲を重ねていくにつれ、そんな感じを受けました。

今までは、『渾沌の中に差す光』といった印象の「静の希望」が、この作品では『手をひっぱって光の中に連れていってくれる』「動の希望」なのです。
「TEARS OF RAINBOW」や、「陽炎を越えて」を聴くとそんな気持ちにさせてくれます。
このアルバムは、とても色鮮やかです。
楽器の音や、歌う声でも色を感じられるんだ、と気づきました。

そんなところが、前作までとは違う印象を受けます。
素人の私がいうのも何ですが、感心してしまいました。
どんどんすごくなっていってるんだなぁ。

間違いなく彼らの代表作にして最高傑作です。
特にオープニングナンバーの「UNDER　THE　SUN」、
「HAPPY　TV」は今聴いても、
リズム展開やコード進行がかっこよく、新鮮です。
　　　
全体的に緊迫感のある音作りが目立ちますが、
「ＡＭＥＮ！」のように、
メンバー全員がコーラスを楽しんでやっているのが目に浮かぶような
ビートルズを髣髴とさせる遊び心のある曲も収録されており、
そのあたりも非常に興味深いところです。
　　　　
非常によくまとまったコンセプトアルバムですが、
曲のカラーはそれぞれ違い、
よく一枚にまとめあげたな、と、バンドの力量に舌を巻きます。
何回聞いても飽きません。
文句なくかっこいい名盤です。
