原作であるシティーハンターの魅力を全く活かしていない内容。
シリアス、ギャグ、感動があってこそのシティーハンターなのに、完全にギャグだけに走ってしまった。
まずジャッキー・チェンが僚というのがありえない。　長身で足長、甘いマスク（普段時）の僚と１２０％違いすぎる。
またボーイッシュな魅力の香を、「チャイニーズ・ゴースト・ストーリー」の美人女優ジョイ・ウォンが演じたが、彼女は後藤久美子が演じたヒロインにすべきだったと思う。
ここまで変ると、シティーハンターにした意味がない。

ただジャッキーがゲーム「ストリートファイター」のキャラクターになって、戦うところだけは、シティーハンターと切り離し、単にジャッキーの映画として見れば、楽しめた。

シティーハンターと銘打った意味が分かりませんが、それは無視できマス。全くの別物として捉えられる様な作りになってるんで(作った人の本意は分からんけど)。話の展開が急なのもいつもの事ですし、単純に、船上で悪者と戦う痛快アクションとして楽しんで欲しいです。てか、JCの現代物としては5本の指に入る面白さです、僕ん中じゃ。ギャグ炸裂と言うか、ブルース・リー、スト2のパロディー等、滅多に見られないノリで、大小様々な笑いが散りばめられてます。あと、仲間が多いのも良い。男女3人ずついて、しかも皆がそれぞれ活躍。JC抜きで敵倒したりって結構異色です。JCの格闘も最高級の出来ッす

そう思ったのは僕だけじゃないはず（＾＾；）
槇村香をジョイ・ウォンに演じさせたのもね・・・。
原作の漫画はすごく面白いのに、
映画は・・・久々に観たけど、やっぱりヒドイ出来ですな・・・。
もはや伝説である（笑）『ストU』のシーンは面白かったけど（＾△＾；）
ジャッキーが春麗だもんなぁ〜（爆）
