多分、一子さんの作品で１番売れたタイトルではないか（アニメサントラを除く）。ジャズピアニストと呼ばれながらジャズのアルバムを出した事がない（当時）というへそ曲がりさも魅力だ。このアルバムの中の新曲はモロ歌謡曲なのだが、後にこれが次回作の予告編だったと解りニヤリとさせられた。

この「ジュ・メーム」は、橋本一子さんの世界の入門盤だと思います。ジャズや映画音楽などといろいろな方面で活躍する橋本一子さんの多数のジャンルが収録されているベストアルバムです。発売はだいぶ前ですが、色褪せないであろう名曲でいっぱいです。ここをご覧になった方！！是非チェックしてみてください。僕的には、1曲目がお薦めです。落ち込んでいるときにも、元気いっぱいの時もこのCDで楽しめます。少なくとも自分は。橋本一子が気になる人、全く知らない人、熱狂的ファンの人。この「ジュ・メーム」おすすめ！！

このアルバム、ジュ・メームは超お薦めです！！ジャズアーティスト、小説家などいろいろな顔をもつ橋本一子のいろいろなジャンルの曲が収録されているアルバムです！発売は古いですが、色褪せない曲でいっぱいです！！是非checkしてみてください！
