この作品のサマータイムという曲はすばらし完成度で､個人的には心に残る名曲だと言いたい。
この曲全体から伝わるアレンジ構成の表現力が味わい深く、また八神純子の美しく、幻想的な素晴らしい世界観までもがリスナーに響く。
この曲サマータイムのハイライトは、途中から少し捻った歌い方をする八神純子の歌声と、バックのオーケストラ風にアレンジされたシンセ音源だ。
しかしこのアルバム全体の評価としては、カラオケバージョンのようなインストールメンタルの部分が多すぎてしまって、アルバム自体の評価を下げてしまっていると思う。いい曲が他にも多数入っているアルバムだけに、そこがとても残念な所です。
