J-CLASSICとJ-POPをつなぐもっとも大きな架け橋といえる存在が葉加瀬太郎。クライズラー&カンパニー以来の活躍は、ソロ活動に身を転じてから一層その幅を広げてきているだけに(2000年はなんと3枚のアルバムをリリース)、幾分間が空いたとはいえ、この新作にどれほどの余力を残しているだろうかと、少しばかり疑問だったのだが、そんな常識はこの才人には無縁のようだ。古典中の古典バッハから、ファリャ、バルトークといった民族もの、そしてもちろん多くの自作によって組み立てられたアルバムは、そこはかとない土の匂いを感じさせる点が魅力的。しかも、それがどれも素晴らしく洗練されているのだ。この微妙なバランスは、創り出そうにもそうそう自由になるものではない。もちろん、聴き手の胸の奥に染みこんでくる葉加瀬ならではの、いたずらっぽく洗練されたヴァイオリンの音色も特筆されるもの。それだけ、親しみ故に、ついついBGM風の聴き方をされてしまいがちだとすればほんとうに残念だ。 (佐藤篁之) --- 2001年09月号

随分前から葉加瀬太郎さんが好きで、この前作[VIOLINISM]が出たときには嬉しくて、購入してから２,３ヶ月はずっと聞き入っていました。もちろん今でも聞き、葉加瀬さんの作り出す音色に涙することもあります。

久々のアルバムが出て、これまた即購入しました。前作のアコースティックとは違いますが、ヴァイオリンの音がすると、胸が高鳴っています。この中で「Travel Talk」が私のお気に入りです。曲名どおり、まるで旅に出かけるような、出かけているような、そんな感情を抱かせてくれます。ワクワクと胸が弾みます。葉加瀬WORLDに皆さん、是非いらしてください。

葉加瀬さんの音楽がとても好きで、もちろん発売と同時にこのＣＤをかいました！このアルバムを聴いていると、とても心が穏やかになり、癒され、かつパワーがもらえます！！
ヴァイオリンの音の全てに葉加瀬さんの優しく穏やかな人柄がにじみでていて、本当に素敵な音楽です！！

エトピリカと情熱大陸を弾いている人だ、で終わりたくない、でも何を聞いて良いんだろう、という人にお勧めのアルバムです。
耳にした事のあるような、懐かしい音楽がそこにあります。

はじめから終わりまでじっくりと聞き入る事が出来て、何度聞いても、又聞きたい、と思わされるような音楽。

全ての曲に物語があります。

目を瞑って耳を澄ませば、世界が見えてくる。
