ロックギタ−インストというとディススト−ションの効いたバックにリ−ドを弾くというスタイルが主流であるがこれはまったく違う。シンセやピアノをふんだんに使いとてもさわやかななかにあるロックギタ-のリードサウンドというか。しかしたとえポップな曲を弾かしてもやはりそれは彼の音であり声である。ちょっとリバーブがかかり過ぎている印象もあったが逆にそれが心地よかったりする。ギタ−インストを知らない人ならこの作品は名曲ばかりなのでとてもお勧めで入りやすい作品でもあるだろう。

グラミー賞にもノミネートされた本作は、あれ？この曲聞いたことあるぞ！という大ヒット曲のカバー集。歌のメロディーをニールがギターでなぞるというものだが、ただなぞるというものでは無く、そこは一つも二つも二ール流に料理されています。アレンジも素晴らしく、聴きやすいメロディーの曲が満載のアルバム。二ールは当然曲間で弾きまくっています。

ジャーニーのギタリストが発表した，有名バラードカバー集。単に歌メロをギターで弾くだけでなく，ニールらしいアレンジで聴かせている。非常にエモーショナルですばらしい。
