　2001年発表の通算第6作。超人的な音域を持つヴォーカル：ジョン・ウェストが加入して2作目。ネイティヴ・アメリカンの血を引く精悍な風貌。ソウルフルで硬質の声は、好みは分かれるが、技量は文句なし。「テイク・オフ」＝離陸を合図に、「宇宙」をテーマにした、コンセプト作がスタートする。

　7分、9分といった長尺の曲が多かった前作「Fear」は、展開がゆったりすぎて「中ダレする」という意見が多かった。これを考慮してか、本作では、歌モノの間に、インストを挟む形を取っている。この試みは、おおむね成功しており、全体的に「勢い」が出た。

　イントロに続く、劇的なミディアム・ナンバー [2]。ライヴ映えするスピード曲 [4] あたりが特に人気だ。ネオ・クラシカルを出自とするが、本作では「荘厳さ」を抑え、ソリッドなパートを増やしている。タフな音が好まれるアメリカ市場を意識したものだろう。本音を言えば、1st〜3rd の欧州型ロックのままで居て欲しかったのだが、高品質なパワー・メタルにはちがいない。

　メタル・シンガーの最高音ではないか？と思われる、超絶スクリームで幕を開ける [8] は、ディストーション・ヴォイスや電子音も交え「新サウンド」をアピールする。近未来小説を下敷きにしたコンセプト作ゆえ、めまぐるしく展開する曲が多い本作。バラード [12] が、唯一柔らかい音をしているが、他はいずれも「押し」のナンバー。通して聴くには、スローでソフトな曲がもう1曲欲しい感じはした。

レイ・ブラッドベリーのSF短編集「火星年代記」に影響されて作ったというコンセプトアルバム。
メロディー重視路線に変わりはないが、静と動のメリハリがはっきりしていて味わい深い(その後の作品‘I Witness'では逆に色々な要素を盛り込み過ぎて散漫な印象になってしまったが．．．)。曲間のブランクがないので、アルバム全体が一つの組曲の如く一気に聴ける。

個人的に特に好きなのが、テクノを取り入れた2、ロイヤルハントらしい4,8、じわりと感動する9から10への流れ、バラード12とその静寂を打ち破る激しい13。
