この曲を、GARNET CROWの一番の曲だと
言い切る人が多いのが、曲の素晴らしさを物語っている。

恋をした事がある人ならば、誰でも感じた事があると思われる不安。
二人で居ることが当たり前と化してしまうと、いつしか
『一人が一番落ち着いていた』という事は、私もある。
それでも人は『独りになることが恐い』という弱い者なのである。

だからこそ『ふと思い出したようにcall my name』という
美しい歌詞に、心を惹かれる人が多いのではないだろうか。
『呼びなれた名前何度も二人しかいない部屋でちゃんと呼んでくれる』
他愛の無い事かもしれないが、胸に突き刺さる歌詞である。
それを、切なくも力強く歌う中村由利の実力も計り知れない。

是非とも一人でも多くの人に、この歌の世界観に触れてほしい。

この曲と出逢う数日前に、長かった恋愛が終わりを遂げた。どうしようもない空白な心に、鋭くそして優しく胸を打つメロディと詩が流れ込んできた。 そう、この詩のように彼女と暮らして行きたかった…。たとえ未来が全然見えなくても、君が僕の名を呼んでくれるその声が、その瞬間がとても幸せだったんだと、やっと気付いた。

いま恋愛中の人も独りの人も、ぜひこの曲に触れてみて下さい。儚く穏やかで、そして強く、けれどさりげない愛を「GARNET CROW」は歌っています。

この曲はGARNET CROWで一番好きな曲です。
「call my name」私の名前を呼ぶ、小さな幸せなんですね。
