ファイナル･ファンタジーの映画ということでゲーム･ファンならびにCG好きは期待をしたと思いますが、映画自体は全くの駄作でした。
しかし音楽は良かった！
作曲はJ.コリリアーノに作曲を師事し、本格的にクラシック作品も手掛けているE.ゴールデンサール。
ゲームのＦＦ好きはこの作品をＦＦだと思い込んで聞いてしまうと、ショックを受けるかもしれません。
しかしマーラーやワーグナーなどのクラシック音楽を好む方々が聞けば一種の合唱付交響曲みたいな感じを受けることでしょう。
ゴールデンサール自体、クラシック作品を手掛けているのでこういう作品を書かせたら上手いもんです。
混声合唱が見事にオーケストラと絡み合うところは鳥肌モノです。

演奏も超豪華で管弦楽はイギリスの名門、ロンドン交響楽団。
合唱は同じくイギリスのロンドン・ヴォイセズ。
指揮は管弦楽や吹奏楽も手掛けそれらを指揮している、ディルク・ブロッセ。
この超豪華なメンバーで録音された本作品は映画音楽を超えた交響曲だと感じました。

このような音楽に興味のある方は特に聞いてみてください。
映画は失敗したけど音楽は最高ですよ。

このサントラはゲームのFFのようなものと思って買いました。しかし、ゲームノFFとは違った魅力を感じます。
ラルクが歌う「Spirit　dream　inside」もカッコイイです。

少々切ない感じの曲に緊迫した曲など、いろいろ有り。
ララ・ファビアンによるテーマソングは必聴ものです。
肝心の映画もこのくらいよかったなら・・そう思うと悔やまれる。
