神戸21世紀・復興記念事業の一環として神戸・元町で開催されていた“クロモリットKOBE”。レーザー光線などで作り出す光の絵画＝クロモリットをイメージした楽曲を収録した作品。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

テクノロジーの進歩とともにネオ・アートとして新たに登場してきたのが“光の絵画=クロモリット”。レーザー技術やコンピュータ技術を駆使したフランス生まれのこのライトショー・テクニックをイメージして、色彩豊かなアーティストたちをコンパイルし組み上げたのがこのアルバムだ。現代的なミニマリズム・サウンドから、壮麗なゴシック風な表現~ロマンティックな音色まで、ヴァリエーションに富んだコンピレーションは、ただ漫然と聴き流しているだけでも楽しい。エアコンの利いた小部屋での夏の快楽だ。 (佐藤篁之) --- 2001年08月号

~これ以上書くと面白みがなくなってしまうのでこの辺で。
ただ単に良い曲を連ねるだけではなく、総合的に（パッケージデザインから何まで全て）芸術的なCDです。CDのデザインは中間混色を利用してるのかな・・・。（こまなんかが回転すると、別の色や模様になる）
こんぺいとうの踊りは大好きなので、これがエキセントリックオペラにかかると、どんな曲に・・~~・？そんな思いで買いました。~
