ライナーによると「ホテルのバーで思いついた企画で、ライブ用の曲を作りそれを様々な国でライブレコーディングしアルバムに仕上げる」と言うアイデアがベースになり、それを具体化したライブアルバムです・・・曲はウルトラゾーンツアーのライブから収録！！全体的な印象としてはフランクザッパのギターアルバムを彷彿させる内容で、これでもかと言うくらい弾きまくりです。このＶＡＩＢＡＮＤは譜面に強いメンバーなので、数回のリハーサルで曲をこなしていたようです・・・普通のロックバンドとはやっぱり違います、まさにＺＡＰＰＡ的！！おもしろかったのはＣＤ１の５曲目で、演奏中にスティーブの弦が切れてしまったハプニングがそのまま収録されている事・・・その見事な対応にプロを感じてしまいました。このＶＡＩＢＡＮＤにはマイクキニリーとデイヴワイナーの２人の凄腕ギタリストが参加しており、スティーブが３人同時に演奏しているのでは・・・と言う位ギターの構成が緻密です。スティーブはこのデイヴを凄く誉めてます！！ＺＡＰＰＡ学校の卒業生は本当凄いアーティストばかりです・・・実感！！

　ツアーで訪れた世界各国をイメージさせる楽曲を、その国でライヴ演奏、レコーディングして2枚組のライヴ作品として編集したもの。当然、収録された16曲全て、未発表の新曲だ。

　日本からのイメージを曲にしたものはCD-1-2「BURNING RAIN」。確かに日本的な音階でプレイされている。個人的にはCD-2のほうが充実していると思うが、インストゥルメンタルばかりでありながら、多彩で優れた楽曲が並んでおり、まさに天才のなせる技。

各国の個性を活かした曲をライヴ（リハーサルも含む）で録音するというアイデアは秀逸だが、そんなことよりなにより素晴らしい曲と演奏で満ちていることの方を書いておきたい。企画の面白さを知らずとも、ヴァイの超絶なテクニックと感情表現に酔うことだろう。もっともエキゾティズムの域を出ていないとも言えるが、全てがヴァイの個性に彩られているので、それはむしろロック作品としては吉なのではないか。
（だが、作品には関係ないことだが、ブックレットの翻訳は、これまで読んだことがないくらい酷い。インターネットの無料自動翻訳をそのまま載せたかのような文章だ。）
