93年から茨城県水戸市で精力的な活動をしてきた、ヒップホップ三人組のメジャー・デビュー・シングル。アンダーグラウンド・シーンでの経験の長さからか、シンプルでルーズなサウンドは非常にまとまっており仕上がりには好感。90年代初頭のスタンダードを踏襲したモノなのだが、模倣だけではできない音の深み、リズムの緻密さには彼らの自信があふれている。ただ、スタンダード過ぎるゆえに聴く人によっては物足りなさを感じるかも。とはいえ、ネイティヴな女性ヴォーカルなどを入れて楽曲に変化をつけているのは評価したい。 (石塚隆) --- 2001年09月号
