パンディレータ(タンバリン)をベースに地声のコーラスを聴かせる女声の集団は、パンデレテイラスと呼ばれるガリシア地方のトラッドな形だ。アヌビーアと名乗るこのグループは、イベリア半島の北端に残るこの辺境ケルトの残滓たちが受け継いできた“うた”の力を、はっきりと悟らせてくれるだけの魅力的なコーラス。しかもただ伝統を遵守するだけでなく、ここには新世代的に、ほとんどの楽曲でオーセンティックでありながら多彩で自由さに満ちたサウンドがある。民族音楽のあたらしい可能性の一端はまさにこれだ。 (佐藤篁之) --- 2001年09月号
