日本人好みのドラマチックなトランスです。仕事を選ばない職人。さすがに自分達のアルバムでは本気で仕事してます。素晴らしいです。馬鹿みたいな邦題にはちょっと引いたけど。

『静と動』というアルバムの邦題通り、柔らかく浮遊感のある静寂なシンセ音が上部を漂い、強めな音圧の４つ打ちやブレイクビーツが下部でアグレッシブ（動的）に鳴り響く、繊細かつ大胆なプログレッシブ・ハウス的作品となっております。グレーな空気感が、同じ英国のトリップ・ホップからの影響も強く感じさせ、コールドカットの「枯葉」をサンプリングしたのもうなずける、多彩な感性を持ったユニットの作品であると思えます。これを聴いて踊るのも、ながら作業でBGMとして聴くのも、また一音一音確かめながらじっくり味わうのも良い、素晴らしい音の集大成的一枚であると感じます。万人に好かれる、枠に捕らわれない耳当りの良いクラブミュージックであるとも思います。

真にプログレッシヴなマスターピース。
プログレ・ハウスのノウハウを活かした未来的で
ハイセンスな音楽体験を味合わせてくれる。
正に「静と動」、あくまでクラブミュージックであることから、
ここまで緩急自在なサウンドのコントロールを売りにできるのだろう。

だが、クラブ音楽という括りから抜きんでているのがその扇情性とドラマ性。
全編を通して起伏のあるサウンド・ヴィジョンを目前にしているよう。
出だしからコールドカット「枯葉」のカヴァーを、まるで異次元に吹っ飛ばした
かのようなアレンジが痛快な「The Fall」でぶっとべる。

大袈裟な効果音、細やかなビートワーク、浮遊感いっぱいのシンセ、ベースライン、
民族サンプル、オペラ、それぞれを木端微塵に切り刻みながらも
メランコリックなサウンド展開の下で再構築するこの才能は、
明らかに他のDJ達とは次元が違う。
「Stealth」「Mindcircus」「Intensify」この三曲のボーカルチューン

は真の意味でフューチャートラックと呼ぶのにふさわしい。
アーティスト、DJとして最高のセンスを兼ね備えた者による、
ここまでの会心の一作にはもうしばらくお目にかかれないだろう。
